Research on Music Videos

• BBC -Top of the Pops (1975)
• The Beatles made the first music video
• Queen Music Video (Bohemien Rhapsody) - Lights from above onto the face's of the singer's (the beatles) - shadowed. Fading editing used (close-up to performance.) The clips change when the beat changes. Performace video. Focus on the instrumental (Gutiars, Pianos.) Only really two shots that fade between each other.
• Beatles made promtional filsm specially for TV companies (1965)
• Films where in black and white then to colour.
• The Beatles; Hello Goodbye - Performace based, some close-ups but not many.

Analysing the Revolver ablum;

• Black and White front (no colour at all)
• Four main faces of the band (the beatles)
• It looks at though it has been specifically drawn (sketches)
• No pictures only drawing- cartoon like.
• Faces of people we may not recongise expect for the main band.
• Recongition of the band (the beatles)
• Little pictures - close up's.
